The University of Connecticut hosts the International Studies Association’s Headquarters. The Headquarters is responsible for many operations, such as responding to member inquiries, assisting ISA leadership with programming initiatives, and tracking and maintaining the financial health of the organization. One of the key responsibilities of Headquarters’ staff is ensuring the success of ISA’s highly attended Annual Convention in collaboration with ISA leadership.

Through this event, regional/international conferences, as well as its respected journals and the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of International Studies, the Association promotes rigorous discussion, research, and writing on a broad range of topics within International Studies. ISA also offers various funding, bridging, and mentoring opportunities that facilitate the development of new ideas, relationships, and skillsets.
